Dr. Karl Klingler
Dr. Karl Klingler is a Pediatric dentist in Jenks, Oklahoma. He grew up in Rexburg, Idaho and has lived in Spain for 2 years and Buffalo, New York for 6 years! He got his bachelors degree at BYU-Idaho and then went to dental school at the University of Buffalo. He started out as a general dentist and then decided to specialize in Pediatrics! He is member of LDS Academy of Dentistry, ADA, and AAPD. His favorite part about being a dentist is working with kids! They make things high energy and exciting!
Dr. Klingler and his wife have been married for 12 years and have 3 wonderful children. They love enjoying adventures as a family in the outdoors and exploring Oklahoma and the surrounding areas!
DR. TYLER OWENS
Dr. Tyler Owens grew up in St. George, Utah. Upon receiving his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Brigham Young University, he attended the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Owens participated in multiple mission trips to underserved areas of the world, where he discovered his passion for pediatric dental care. Treating children during these trips led him to complete his residency and training at NYU Lutheran Pediatrics. Dr. Owens is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD).
As a board-certified pediatric Dentist, like Dr. Owens, has gone through a rigorous examination process with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Only Dentists that have completed a residency in pediatric dentistry can sit for the board certification examinations. Board certification tests the knowledge and problem-solving abilities of a pediatric Dentist. In our opinion, taking your child to see a certified pediatric Dentist is as important as taking them to a pediatrician.
Dr. Owens and his wife, Kristen, have four children: Ryan, Ryder, Olivia, and Charlotte. When he is not in the office, Dr. Owens loves outdoor activities, learning new things and spending time with his family. Fun Fact: Dr. Owens has NEVER had a cavity!
DR. WILLIAM SEMTNER
Dr. Semtner is a pediatric Dentist in Jenks, Oklahoma. He is from Plano, Texas and got his undergrad from the University of Texas at Austin. He then went to Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He became a Dentist because he always enjoyed working with people, volunteering, getting involved in the community and being creative. He is also a member of the ADA and AAPD.
He has been married to his partner from Hawaii for 8 years and they have a cat named Sabrina, and a dog named Clara! In his free time you can find him in the garden planting and harvesting fruits and veggies, cooking, and going on hikes! He has played the viola since he was 11 years old and went on to college to graduate with a music degree in orchestras and string quartets. If he could have one superpower it would be to fly! His favorite show is Stranger Things.
DR. JOYAH BROOKS
Dr. JoyAh Brooks is a Pediatric Dentist at Smieles 4 Life in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She grew up in Amelia County, Virginia, and went to New York University College of Dentistry. In 2012 she decided to join Teach For America Corps in Oakland, California where she taught 8th grade Math and Science. She loves working with kids and is so blessed to have this opportunity to spend a lifetime of learning from her patients and their families.
Her favorite part about being a Dentist is working with her hands, and building things to make them stronger! She is married to her husband, Gary and they have been together for 11 years. They have a fur baby named Ludwig, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi! When she is not working, she loves to do anything creative or artsy!
